Hello guys, I would like to hear your suggestions on the best free and paid methods to promote your squeeze pages. is it possible to get 1000 opt-ins within a month with free traffic?

      So like posting a video on YouTube about my niche and then adding the link to my squeeze page at the bottom. I'm definitely gonna be doing that, whAt else? I'm looking for a lot of good suggestions.

        Regarding posting the video on Youtube, I would get a domain name to redirect directly to your squeeze page. That is unless your squeeze page is a top level domain already. If you want to go cheap, a *.info domain would be fine. Something like "www.awesomeoffer.info".

        Go to the registrar where you register the domain name and set it up to redirect directly to your squeeze page.

        Then use video editing software to have that top level domain be displayed on the bottom of your video throughout the entire length of the video. Also have that top level domain be at the very beginning of your description of the video. You'd think that people would just see the link in your description and click it, but many won't. Having the link displayed in your video will cause many people to just go type it in out of curiosity.

        And you will see this in action when you look at your stats too. When you look at traffic stats and there is no referring URL, it means that someone typed in your URL directly into the address bar.

    It's possible to get 1000 opt ins in a month with free traffic, although getting 1000 opt-ins in your FIRST month would probably be difficult unless you have some amazing traffic generation techniques.

    I agree with Laurent that promoting your squeeze page with videos on Youtube would be a good avenue. Also writing some articles on Ezine Articles with an enticing free offer in the resource box would be good.

    How enticing your free offer is will make a difference I'm sure. You could also promote your free offer via a signature in forum posts as well.

    I am not worried one bit about the free offer I'm giving away. I feel my free offer will be extremely loved. I only worry about getting the most traffic to it that I could get. I'm not sure what a viral squeeze page is, sorry.

    View other YouTube videos in your niche, look for the ones with the highest visitors, copy their keywords, create your own video (as warrior dmitch31 explained above), and post a new video everyday if possible.

      it needs a lot of work to get 1000 opt ins a month either it's free or paid traffic...

      Some good techniques is: 1. to submit a free report to pdf sharing sites like scribd,upload.com

      2. join Giveaway events (a lot of "gurus" still use this technique)

        1. Safe-swaps to swap squeeze pages with other people's list. That builds your list fast but also puts your subscribers on everyone else's list.

        2. Solo ads are PERFECT, but expensive.

        3. Free Giveaways - write an informative ebook

        4. Blog posts

        5. Youtube videos promoting IM products with your squeeze page as directed above in plain view for a BONUS for the product.

        6. Some use PPV or Pay Per View while others don't think the leads are valuable.

          Solo ads. Very easy and laser targeted. You're going to pay but having a strong quality list is what you want.

          You can build a list very quickly using safe lists and traffic exchanges but you will find more tire kickers and freebie seekers resulting in a lower quality list.

    I'll definitely keep that in mind. I'm sure most people here have heard this before, "STick to one thing" I'm not sure if that applies here. Would it be better to give my 100 percent focus on video marketing or is it better to try to get traffic coming from everywhere. Whether it's forum marketing, article, yahoo answers, etc...

    Try ebook syndication !!

    Write an ebook or if you already have some good content you could re purpose that into an ebook, simply put together a pdf and then have it converted to ebook format, there are some great sites around to get this done.

    Go to fiverr.com and get yourself a professional looking ebook cover done for $5.

    Now submit your ebook to 3 free ebook sites, take a look at free-ebooks.net for one, their are many more.

    Put links in your ebook back to your site, and even at the end of your ebook put a promo add with link to your site.

    Visitors to your ebook need to be sold on your ebook, then clicking on your link will just be secondary, so as always "content is King ok".

    Do this and you should start to see traffic coming through to your site, its a great little traffic generating method, especially if you get a few ebooks out there on free ebook sites.

    It is possible , but your squeeze page need to have a high conversion rate , nice graphics , and valuable gift, making your visitors want really to sign with you . Video marketing , submitting articles .

    FREE method: Join a giveaway (but chances are you will be getting freebie seekers), promote it on your signature in forums, or even do a status update in your FB. There is plenty of free methods that you can do.

    But what I would suggest is..

    Do adswaps, promote your squeeze page as a WSO, buy solo ads. Of course, you can monetize in the backend so that you don't go broke paying your way up. :-)

    What's so great about the number 1,000?

    I mean- I can go out and buy a list of 1000 subscribers for like $10.

    Just getting that many people on your list doesn't mean squat. You want

    1) People who are BUYERS, not freebie seekers, and
    2) People who know you

    Well- not know you sexually of course- but you know, your personality.

    With respect to free methods:

    1)Ad Swaps - definitely a working tried and tested method for most marketers.
    2)Video Marketing - Post your Videos (preferably using something like tubemogul) to the top video sharing sites.

    PPC works for me. though I feel that you may need a rather significant amount of money to tweak and test. Of course if you have several thousand $$$s, you can build a 1000 member list very quickly. I personally got banned by Google adwords for advertising a squeeze page (even though everything else on that page was following their t&c).

    I recommend you not try Google. Bing Ads Or Facebook Ads rather.

    It is possible but you have to really focus and work hard. You should look into hosting some sort of contest. For example, "share this on fb for a chance to win xxx".

    I never hosted a contest before but I am sure you can generate quite a bit of traffic that way.

    Yea it is but it really depends on what you're promoting. I did 900 in month with a basic squeeze page with a $20 bill on it. Told visitors I would show them how to make $20 an hour.

    It ended up being the biggest waste of subscriber space in my history of Internet marketing. Open rate was less than 2%.

    So it's possible, yea, but depending on your target market, you could get some real BS traffic

    I used Youtube by the way :-)

    It is definitely possible! As those who replied before me suggested there are various ways to do this - the free methods will take longer to reach 1K subs, and paid methods should help you reach your target more quickly.

    Whatever method you choose to try, make sure it is bringing you targeted and quality subs, not low quality subs that in the end will not open/click/convert on your offers anyway.

    I would highly recommend:
    - Buying solo ads (many seller around, and check out Safe Swaps too; read reviews before you buy!)
    - Running both paid and free WSO

    Running a paid WSO offering a products priced around $4/$7 will help you build you list with buyers, making it more valuable and also responsive, as these would be people who are comfortable with purchasing reports and aren't just freebie seekers.

    Yes.

    But first I want you to know that nothing is 100% free. If you are submitting articles anyway - the article either cost you money or time and time we all believe is money. So nothing 100% free.

    Having said that - PARTNER TRAFFIC will get you 1000plus optin in a month.

    Suggestions -

    You can create hot sharable content. It can be a short report. You can make give other people plr right to it. In you report you will have a small box that leads to your site that don't change. There are several plr right sites you can submit that to.

    Or you can make it a rebrandable report where you recommend few resources and affiliate product as part of the report. Give other site owners in your market to rebrand it with their affiliate account.

    If you do guest blogging the right it work.
