What are Your Thoughts on Aweber's Blog Broadcast Service?

I'm just curious if anyone is currently or has used using Aweber's Blog
Broadcast feature, and what your thoughts on it are?

Any Tips...

Do you think it is a good thing to take advantage of or not?

    I think it's definitely a great advantage of Aweber. My business partner and I use that for the site that we manage together. It's so nice that you can automatically alert your subscribers when you're adding new content to your blog, provided that you're not swamping them with over frequent posts...or worse, blog content that is really advertising in disguise.

      Hey Rhonda,
      Thanks for your input. I'm currently using it too, and like it so far. But I definitely have to be mindful of how the beginning of my blog posts start, considering that's what will show up in people's email.

      Currently I'm just using the basic setting, sending them the blog title as a link and a short description.

      Are you using a more advanced blog broadcast email template than that?

        Not at this time...just basic settings. But, I have definitely learned the same thing about watching the beginning of your post. If you want to entice people to read the rest of your post, you need something really catchy at the beginning so when the broadcast goes out, it will spark enough interest and get them to click through to your blog post.
