Fiverr Gigs..Opinions & Advice

I posted this twice earlier, but for some reason it dropped off the forum so I'll try again.

I'm considering trying to do some marketing through Fiverr. Particularly in the Social Marketing section. Example: I will promote your links to my 95K face book active fans for$5

What I'm noticing though, is that the people who actually buy these gigs seem to leave mostly neutral feedback as to the results, so I'm curious if this is a worthwhile way to test my product.

I'd love some feed back from any of you who have tried (Succeeded or Failed) with this approach and any advice you may have.

I just completed a report I think will do well in the market if I get it in front of the right audience. On that topic, I'd appreciate your opinions on the title.

Thanks so much

I apologize for this question being on a tangent, but how did you get 95,000 facebook fans?

These are not my face book fans (I don't even have a face book page yet) but rather are offers from people on Fiverr offering services from their fans.

I've tested those kinds of gigs on Fiverr with mixed (leaning to poor) results. I was mostly playing with Twitter gigs, but I suspect it is similar.

The bottom line is that most of the gigs seem to be really low quality in terms of the content of their network, which means not very much actual market penetration.

I'm still playing around with it, though, and admittedly there is a lot that I have not tried.

Its all depends you have to look over the gig and see if its worth your $5 or not there are a number that are worth it but with that said a number that are not. Its up to you to decide and test or find the popular ones.

  • In my extensive travels through the Fiverr universe, I've never seen one of these Facebook or Twitter gigs get genuine rave reviews.

That's because they don't work. I wrote about it here:

Facing the facts about Facebook fans

Any positive reviews on these gigs are invariably a result of people wanting to be nice, not proof that the gigs worked.

fLufF I don't know if using tweeting service or facebook works or not, but I know for sure people are buying it.

After all there is no way these are all faked profile, if even 1/5 are active member it pays off

I've used a gig like this once or twice and the results haven't been too bad. However, I chose a provider that offered promotion to his fans or followers that were in the exact same niche as me. The audience was more targeted, so the results were worth while.
