I looked at my Business Partner today and it hit me how deeply I trust her. And that got me to wondering why? - - It is because I trust her handshake more than a fifty thousand word contract. - - It is because she doesn't have the slightest desire to do anything but 100% the right thing by every person she meets. - - It is because she is TOTALLY Focused when we work and a genuine friend when we stop working. - - It is because she constantly challenges me to "Improve - try harder- work smarter and do better!" - - And because she has faith and trust and hope in me in regards to the various businesses we are running. - - It is because she has vision. Vision adds value to everything! And then it struck me how amazingly blessed I am to work with someone like that! What about YOU? If you have a great business relationship with someone... what are the reasons yours works so well. |

The reasons mine works so well is because my business partner is myself. I don't struggle by any means to work with others and I am not a control freak, but I am not nearly as lucky as you are. The three business partners I have had in my lifetime have not worked out because they are not trustworthy, steal money, and simply don't have a clue what hard work is. You are very lucky and it is good that you know it! Benjamin Ehinger |

I business partner like that is a serious diamond in the rough. I'd continue to nourish that relationship for a very long time. As for me...the relationship I have with my partner has been refined over time, as we've weathered both good and bad times together. We've seen some serious droughts...but, having someone endure THAT with you really makes for the best when you both start to really succeed together. |

You seems to have a very good business partner. Congratulations to you as it is not easy to get one good business partner. I have a few business partners in the post working in some offline projects and it is not easy to coordinate with them. The most common problem is not having mutual trusts with each other and not having the same mentality about the money issue. Treasure your business partner and all the best to your online venture ![]() Zack |

I think that the best way to gain trust with a business partner is to be very open in your communication. When you find someone that is easy to communicate with, it makes it much easier to resolve issues as they arise. It's never good to let things go without discussion, as things build up over time and it can lead to one big explosion.

That makes things more difficult and means more personal pressure on me, but - C'est la vie. The OP is very fortunate and I hope that it remains that way. Just my thoughts, Jeff. | |

I don't exactly have a "business partner" in the typical sense of the word but I do have someone I outsource a lot of web design work to and they are great. The reason why our relationship is so great is pretty simple, he is an ethical hardworking guy and so am I. I think finding these kinds of people boils down to one simple thing, do not compromise and work with someone who you do not like. A lot of people settle for a so-so business relationship and it usually hurts them later on. Moral of the story is that when you do find a great business partner, treat them like gold. One of the most overlooked aspects to this business is building solid relationships with people. |
