Selling a site already hosted (Hosting included)

I am thinking of making about 20 WordPress blogs/sites and then selling them, either 1 at a time or 2 together. That doesn't really mater.

To save time in the future of transferring all the contents of the blog over to the new customer, I was thinking of just setting up a new hosting account for each blog. Then I I have to do is change the ownership of that account over. (After transferring the domain name ownership & changing any affiliate details.)

I see Bluehost has a special of $3.95 Unlimited, does anyone know of any cheaper host that is still ok per site.

Why don't you open a 'Reseller Account' and offer the sites with
half price hosting as an extra source of revenue?

Why don't you get a Reseller Account (I have one at HostGator) and include the hosting with the package?

You can then make money from them for the hosting also. I think you can even set up automatic billing through your WebHostManager account.

Or maybe even better: Only offer to move it to a WebHost where you earn commissions when someone gets an account. I remember reading where people were setting up blogs for people on Fiverr, but only if they opened an account at HostGator through the builders affiliate link (which pays around a $75 commission I think).

I don't know if this answered your question, but it might give you a couple of things to think about.

EDIT: (Looks like Nathan and I were answering at the same time)

When I buy a site like that with hosting and they want to change it over to me, I refuse. I move the site myself and do not want or need additional hosting.

I would go with reseller hosting and either charge them like $5/mnth for hosting or they can move it.
