    No.

It has to be something you created, sort of a "landing page" kind of thing. You can create a review of it and post that in your signature though.

I have linked to my own auctions in the past. There is a bit of leeway to link to a page you control, as long as it isn't an affiliate link or redirect. If you have resale rights to the book, and the offer is on a page you control, you should be okay.

If it is an auction you control, then it should be fine.

We have people linking to auctions of sites they are selling on flippa.

But if you have any doubts, it is something you can submit a ticket to the help desk about.

As John mentioned, there is some leeway.

Yeah I lost my signature for like a month.. found out the hard way.

I just forget sometimes that not every forum is as lenient as the forums we have at CG (its a gaming forum) so you can imagine how things get over there. lol I'm one of the admins on there, and we pretty much let our users do what they want as long as they arent spamming or doing anything illegal.

I'm guessing he is promoting someone else's book, judging from his post:

Which is why I said no. If it is his own auction, then yeah of course he could post it in his sig. But it didn't sound like it to me..

Either way, I would contact the help desk and run it by them just to be sure. Just give them the link to the auction, explain everything and they will be able to let you know for certain.

edit: he just ninja'd me, lol so apparently it is his own auction and has resale rights.. but again, just to be sure I would run it by the help desk.
