About to launch my Business

Hey guys, i've been working on my website for the last 2 weeks (poker niche). I've set up a squeeze page that gives anyone who opts-in an extremely good gift. They also get to register for a free account on my membership site. From there, I plan on sending them emails, content, and promoting my products to them. Anyways, my business is almost ready to be launched, the last thing i need is to register for an aweber account and create my auto responder emails. Then i can start promoting my squeeze page. What tips and suggestions do you guys have for me? Is there such thing as the best days and times to send emails out to your list?

    Congrats on setting up your business.

    In terms of timing think about your target audience and where they're based. For example I'm based in the UK, if I was targeting those in the UK, I could send an email out on a Tuesday morning at around 10:00am and get good results but my American friends would still be sleeping and the email won't have as much impact.

    I find Monday's are a rubbish day to send emails as people get so many and are playing catch up. Tuesdays/Wednesdays I get the best results.

    I would recommend split testing it which you can do in Aweber so then you're be able to see the best results for yourself.

    I would also recommend that the first bunch of emails you don't sell anything, your products or any other affiliate products. Build a relationship with them, give them loads of value and content and then gradually start selling to them.

    Another thing that I find works quite well is sending shorter emails that direct them back to a great blog post I've written, this in turn creates more traffic and comments/likes/share on my blog.
