Google $250 adwords coupon

hi all;

anyone else getting emails about Google's free $250 adwords giveaway?

Try Google AdWords with $250 in free advertising (direct link)

Apparently the coupon code is sent via snail mail and existing adwords users qualify too if a new account is set up with a different credit card.

not sure if it applies here in the UK tho'.

cheers y'all,
Austin.

So do you get the coupon after you sign up, or is this the link given on the mailer with the coupon in it?

Here's the terms - (I put important parts in bold)

"*Terms and Conditions: Promotional credit must be applied to a new AdWords account within 15 days of creating the account and is valid only for new Google AdWords customers with self-managed signup accounts. Offer limited to one per company. Advertisers will be charged for advertising that exceeds the promotional credit. Advertisers will need to suspend their ads if they do not wish to receive additional charges beyond the free credit amount. Subject to ad approval, valid registration and acceptance of the Google AdWords Program standard terms and conditions. The promotional credit is non-transferable and may not be sold or bartered. Offer may be revoked at any time for any reason by Google Inc. One promotional credit per customer. Offer valid only for sign ups through the URL provided for the promotion, by advertisers whose credit card billing address is in the US or Canada. Promotional credit may take up to 2 business days to apply. Void where restricted or prohibited by law. Expires 1/31/2009. Promotion valid only for new customers. Self-service advertisers are subject to an activation fee of $5 prior to receiving promotional credit. Promotional credit will be applied within two business days of verification of eligibility."

I don't think opening a new account with a different credit card number makes you a "new customer", but you may be able to get away with it. If not, you could always use a spouse's name.. maybe?

Holy Crap, why do these threads keep popping up about this???

If you don't already have a mailer from Google with an Ad Code, you are not going to get the credit. They don't send it out after you sign up, they send it out to certain people to get them to sign up.

There have been many threads on this lately and will soon get deleted.

ah, that's why I didn't find any similar posts - I searched first before posting this thread. Or maybe I'm just crap at searching

I've signed up anyway and started a new account with a different credit card - will see if I get the coupon in the mail.

    For the umpteenth time...

Singing up will get you nothing. Zilch. Nada. $0

You have to ALREADY have a UNIQUE one time use code which would have been sent to you in a targeted promotion via the post.

In other words anyone who signs up with this link and does not already have something with the code on it will get zilch... $0... nothing.

    Joschu,

What you posted is skillfully crafted deceptively smooth spam ad.

Of course you already know that you are spamming.

You are promoting your affiliate link for that viral software promotion. I am sure you would "love" to have people "try it" and tell you what they think since the promotion is designed to give you benefits the more you can get people to download it.

    Spam reported.

I suggest you delete your spam ad and reconsider your actions as if you keep this up you won't last long here.

Its a free keyword research tool that allows one to view any website's Adwords keyword list.
(I know there are tons of free keyword tools in the internet, but...)
It could be quite useful if it works I guess, but what do YOU think?
I really appreciate if you can share a moment to let me know your opinion about it!
    Thanks and God bless,

    Joschu

Well this is very common to all

Google Adwords is now giving away $250 in FREE advertising credits when you open a new Adwords account. Friends, THIS is the time to test out your PPC offers.
If there was ever a time to try out that one campaign you've always wanted to try, now is that time.
Just setup a new Adwords account. If you already have one, just have Paypal auto-generate a new credit card number for you using the Paypal plug-in and you're off to the races.
Go here to claim your $250 Adwords credit.
You might want to read this thread and the offer a little more carefully.

You have to have the coupon code FIRST. If you do not have the coupon code already you are not going to magically get one. They don't send it to you after you sign up...

This promotion was for targeted mailings where individuals were sent unique coupon codes.

It does not matter if you use a "new credit card" or whatever... you are going to end up with no bonus credit anyway since you do not have the unique coupon code.

In other words you ain't getting nuthin' just for signing up with that link.
