Editing Wordpress Themes

Ok, so I'm completely new to wordpress. I've finally gotten it installed and even made my first post.

But----the header on the site is still the original theme logo and says something about Xcite pro or something. How do I get that off there. Is there a way that I can edit the words on that header to be the name of my blog?

I'm sure it's something easy but my eyes are going crossed right now!

Thanks in advance

Some themes have a "logo" image were the blog title normally goes. You can either remove it and add the blog title in the coding or make a new "logo" image with your information and upload it and replace the previous image.
