What's the Best Theme for My Niche?

Is this a list somewhere of niches and the best WordPress theme for each niche?

It seems a popular question, and I think it would kind of be helpful if there was a list somewhere of niches and the best theme(s) to use for each. It'd be nice to have a place to send people when they have questions.

I mean, I want to build a great website and make some money, so I'd like to make sure that my site looks like every other site in my niche.

I don't want to differentiate myself at all.

I don't want to build a better site than everyone else in my niche.

I don't want my site to look unique and memorable.

I just want it to look like every other site in my niche. I want to be like everyone else. I want my site to blend in with the crowd.

I want visitors to my site to be absolutely bored after visiting yet another site in the niche that looks exactly like every other site in my niche. Bonus points, of course, if I use the same PLR as the others, so that people will be hit with the same information again and again and again so that, maybe, by the time they reach my website, they will be so comatose that they will mindlessly click ads or perhaps even buy something.

And, I'm going to get stock photos from the big stock photo sites, maybe even from the free stock photo sites. You know, just like everyone else does.

Also, the theme needs to be fully ready for SEO. I don't want visitors coming to my site and thinking, "Wow! This site is different! I'm bookmarking this site!" That's just crazy talk. Also, I want them to forget the domain name, so I won't use anything unique and memorable. I'll just use a bland, boring keyword rich domain name, because that's what the search engines love. I want people to have to struggle to remember my site, so they'll have to search for it every time, which means I need to rank really well for my website, thus the need for a theme that's extremely SEO ready.

What would be the best theme for that?

Perhaps the old, unoriginal lazy theme?

I'm sure there's a link to it around here somewhere.

Well I've been getting a lot of word that in internet marketing, optimize press is the best. It does look good and has amazing features. I do recommend you check it out. You can see it here. (not affiliate link)

You could also try Woo Themes. They work for me.

Well Dan, if you didn't use such "a bland, boring keyword rich" subject line, more people might even read your post so that they could answer your question intelligently...

Oh right... That was the problem... It was a hypothetical question that no one but skimmers could really answer...

You have way too much fun vetting skimmers. To answer your question: Why find a theme to blend in? Just load your competitors page in an iframe, and surround that frame with ads. You can't go wrong.

Dan, you forgot a couple of things...

      > If you are going to use PLR, do not change it. If you do, people will not recognize it.

      > When using stock photos, especially free ones, do not take anything beyond the first page. Again, you run the risk of using something different.

Seriously, don't you ever get tired of helping people look foolish?

    Never thought about that...

Personally I tend to use boring Wordpress themes anyway, I'll just have to make sure they're the boring, uncommon and unpopular wordpress themes going forward!
