Guest blogging is a hot item right now. In addition to the suggestions above, try:
Blogger Link Up

Use Technorati. At the top of the page, insert your keyword or niche, then select "search for blogs", (not posts). This will provide you with a good selection of quality blogs.

Also, search Google with your keyword phrase/niche. When the search results display, select "More" in the left-hand margin, then "blogs".

I agree with those who have mentioned emailing the blog owner. Maybe offering a trade of some sort if your PageRank and/or visitor stats are commensurate.

I pitch guest blogging for one of my clients. I approach the blog owner directly and tell him or her a little bit about my client. I use a very soft approach rather than a hard sell...I give the info and let 'em know we're here if they're interested.

Hi Billy,

I personally use myblogguest to find blogs accepting guest posts, however, there is an option where you can submit you blog so that interested ones can find you (Probably, looking for a blogger section is the one where you need to make a post).

On a different note, you can get in touch with me if you are interested in some one-off guest posts.

This is an awesome resource guys. Thanks to the OP for asking about this. Normally I just ask bloggers that I respect if they would allow a guest post (which I still think is the best way if you want a lot of quality traffic), but these links are a great shortcut.

There is no doubt that Guest blogging is a very effective method to promote business as well as brand. This way of online marketing also helps in generating back links as well as traffic on the site. Recently, I had submitted a guest post on a website (techmagnets(com)) and now i am getting approx 123 visits/daily on my website from this blogging website.

Hi,

I think the best way would be to make your "guest blog" landing page search engine friendly so people searching for you can find you.

So, if you want them to find you, just like you would optimize your site for the search engines optimize for them. On your landing page you should have:
- keywords
- keywords in "quotes"
- phrases such as "guest bloggers" "guest blogging" "write for us" "contribute" etc...

had lots of success with my blog guest site and also going to IM events, and asking people if they have a blog and how much traffic.

Has really worked for me. Also commenting on these blogs as much as one can for extra targeted traffic.

Aweber allows guest blogging. Has to be internet marketing and email marketing related, and you can get exposure from all of their blog subscribers and brand new blog visitors.
