Hello There,

I am affiliate marketer and I just trying to figure out
how demographic targeting form USA is important.

How we can classify people ages for different offers
like games, insurance, dating, financial and so?

    I have had no success so far but I am going to go out on a limb and say that you have to research what sorts of people what the kinds of products you are offering and target your ads to those people. A landing page for a free diabetic test kit is going to be much more successful to the over 50 crowd than it is to the 18-24 crowd.

    Well for example if I were you and I wanted to promote a health insurance product I would make an assumption that the people who were interested in such a thing wouldn't be younger adults but rather older adults because they suffer from more health problems. I would google studies who buys these sorts of things and then target my ad campaign based on the research of what I find. Though my approach sounds like common sense. Common sense doesn't always prevail. Let's see what one of the forum gurus have to say.

      Hello,
      if you have a special topic just go to one of the major players in your niche.For example weight loss would be weightwatchers . com or something like this. Then go to quantcast and put the url in and have a look at the demographics like age, education and where the traffic comes from. Another way to see what real people are saking is yahoo answers, just serach for related questions to your topic, sometimes you find good information there.

      A good source for paid traffic are facebook ads or try out media buys from related sites in your niche. There are some sites offering spaces to place ads on a monthly basis. You can find them through google or buysellads . com is quite good to start with.
