WP plugin for embedding video/article

Greetings,
I figure there is a Wordpress blog plugin that allows the thumbnail image and intro text for a video or article to appear in the post just like when you copy a URL into a Facebook post. Can anyone direct me to such a plugin?

    Try out the smart youtube plugin. It's pretty simple to use and there's no more embedding and all that. Just copy the link and when you see (http://), all you have to do is add a v after the p to activate the plugin. So your link should look like (httpv://)

        Yes this is for videos only. As for the articles, I don't know any plugin for that. You can try searching on Google. I'm sure you'll find your answer there.
