I'm Looking For An Outline Of Affiliate Marketing Basics....

I am looking for a basic outline for affiliate marketing. It does not have to be too complex, just a general outline from product research to driving traffic to your product page.

All suggestions are apprecitated.

If you want to point me to a free ebook or website that has something along these lines, or any other thing you can think of, go for it.......

All input will probably be helpful....

Choose Product that gets readers a positive result.

Find one problem the market is facing.

Create a free video presentation or pdf solving that problem, mention affiliate product at the end.

Give it away in exchange for an email address.

Use ppc, and banners to drive traffic

Create 2-3 more free videos or pdf's

    Keep sending traffic,

Start split testing your squeeze page and videos...

Once the campaign is profitable start another site.

Don't automatically assume it's the product or niches fault when you don't make any sales.

    Nicholas has it!.

I recommend checking out Affilorama.com for some basic courses.

You can then get more deeply involved and follow Allan Nkata's blog here: Allan-Nkata.com | Effective Internet Marketing

He explains all this affiliate/internet/email marketing etc.

    Cheers,
    Dave

    Hi,

As Dave said, affilorama.com is a good place to start, they have very good free tutorials.

Also read Rosalind Gardners blog, it is really good. You can read a basic outline here at here blog if you want: Affiliate Marketing Simplifed | Make Money Online with Super Affiliate Rosalind Gardner

You can also try a google search on the topic.

A lot of information is supplied by articles and free ebooks that are freely available on the net.

You dont have to (and shouldnt) pay for basic affiliate marketing information when there is plenty of it out there freely available.

If you find that it is not what you are looking for, keep going until you find something useful.

This is the world wide web and it is an ever-evolving organism.

What worked in 2001 may not work AS WELL now, but the BASIC strategies still will.

I have to vote a big yes to affilliorama as well. Mark Ling is most excellent in value and in product.
