Where do I start ???
Is the question I remember having when I had 1st joined and was feeling frustrated. I wish someone had explained something to me. I knew I needed a plan BUT I wish I would have realized that I needed to treat this as a Business. So to anyone out there just getting started or maybe you've been online for a while and haven't been treating this as a real viable business but instead just a hobby realize that you need a Business Plan. So Here is what I have come up with in a nutshell
Outline of a Business Plan
1) Business Concept this is where you want to map out what type of business you are going to get into (I.e. affiliate marketing, product creation, list building etc...) Really learn the industry and the business structure you feel comfortable following and how you plan to make your business a success next you want to.........
2) Identify The Marketplace ya know finding a "niche" analyze your potential customers see who and where they are(Check out forums related to your niche aka market get down and really do some research and see what kind of problems they have, what makes them buy and how you plan to crush your competition.... last but not least
3)Manage your finances yes we all want to make money but don't want to spend it! You have got to track and budget, this is a real business you have to count your losses to know your gains. Keep track of how much your spending to see if you are just wasting time, breaking even, or making a profit.
P.S. If your brand spankin new I recommend Ed Dale's Challenge. It helped me get my feet wet and learn more about this whole IM "thing" haha
PPS If you are feeling discouraged like you can't make it don't quit! Success is a road and you got to keep running!
