Non-compete: US or UK?

I am hiring some US based telesales people to bash out a few offers for me.

I want to get them to sign a non-compete to put them off ripping my idea.

I know if they do then it is an expensive and long drawn out thing to actually persue it so this is more of a deterent.

Due to this I dont want to spend extortionate solicitor fees, I will just buy a pre-made one online.

But.. I can't decide whether to buy a US non-compete agreement or a UK non-compete agreement.

I am in the UK, they will be in the US.

Usually UK contracts have something like "by signing this contract you are agreeing to abide by UK law" but i guess if I do choose to sue them then I will be doing it through representation in the states.

So which do I buy, UK or US?

(I know a lot of people reading this will be firing up the response "go speak to a lawyer" but Im not going to do that as I don't need the extra cost. It's very unlikely I will ever sue, I just want to create a deterrent. But in the unlikely case I do, which would server me best? Or does it even matter?)
