    Hi Mellony,

It's going to be different for everybody, depending on what their sites are focused towards.

You might consider doing some testing of your own - you don't have to only run one campaign; you could run several and see which ones start converting with your traffic/visitors and then you can change the others to the campaigns that convert the best for YOU.

Everyone is different and everyone promotes things in a different way. Just because something converts like crazy for one person doesn't mean it will for another.

Do your own testing for the best results in your IM business.

    Hope that helps

    Thanks
    Eleanor

I'd never heard of that affiliate ranker site but if you follow a few of those links, they take you to the affiliate info page for each site which then points you to the network that manages that store's affiliate program. Many of them led straight to Shareasale. Instead of using that site, just register with Shareasale (or Linkshare or CJ or any of the other affiliate networks) and you'll be able to see average performance data for each merchant.

You can even do a search for "Christmas" related merchants inside Shareasale and then look at the stats tab for each merchant. Pay attention to the EPC for 7 days and 30 days and also the reversal percentages. They don't share conversion rates but you, as the affiliate, play a big role in conversion rates by preparing the visitor to make the purchase before they show up at the website. To get started you really want to know if sales are being made, if the storefront/website looks inviting and is user friendly, do the products look good, and if there is a high reversal/return rate.

I have a great relationship with several Shareasale merchants and have enjoyed being a part of that affiliate network for a couple of years now. Lots of great ideas for Christmas niches.

      Hi !
I didn't understand this:..." Pay attention to the EPC for 7 days and 30 days and also the reversal percentages."

      My product has:
      3 month EPC 4 USD
      7 day EPC 6.57 USD

Is it good ? What means all that?
      Thanks in advance !

Hi, Mellony! Glad you found the Shareasale info helpful.

EPC stands for "earnings per click" and it represents the average commissions earned for every 100 clicks in a 7 day period and in a 30 day period. This gives you an indication of the earnings potential of one program vs. another.

The program you're looking at has an average commission rate of $6.57 earned for every 100 clicks in the latest 7 day period and an average $4 earned for every 100 clicks during the latest 3 month (does it say 3 month and not 30 days?) period.

Just from experience to date I would have to say Amazon and in particular technology products which have good recent feedback and don't have too much competition using the Google keyword tool.

Commission Junction and Affiliate Window are also quite good and offer reasonable opportunities, but because of direct product linking Amazon definitely gets my vote.

I would say that ebay and amazon in particular would be strong contenders for online shopping for christmas presents.

Personally I hate the crowds etc and you can get some awesome deals online these days which is why review sites can be so popular.

Amazon is very trusted in the market place and with some free shipping deals and discounts at various times it's a pretty good start.

      regards

I've found that T-Shirt Hell's affiliate program makes a lot of money during the holidays.

Everybody gets/gives clothes as a gift, no matter how old you get you are always going to get or give some clothes.

So T-Shirt Hell is perfect for adults. REALLY "inappropriate" shirts on there.. I own like 20 of them myself. haha

They pay 5 dollars per shirt you sell, 50 dollar minimum for payout. They don't do PayPal though.

Plus you can buy from your own affiliate link. They allow it. Here is the link:

I like the look of this program; thanks for recommending it. They have a two-tier that pays $1 for your referrals'sales. I plan to sign up. If you will provide a referral link, I will make sure to sign up under you. I don't have enough posts to PM you, but you can PM me, since posting referral links is taboo.

I would also have to say Amazon is my best performer come Christmas time. One of the big benefits they offer is that they sell just about everything so I tend to get a lot of sales for items I am not even promoting. And the fact that they are so we well known and highly trusted results in very good conversions.

When it comes to promoting stuff for Christmas and the holidays, there are tons of products you can promote across various niches -- basically anything that can be given as a gift. It's not just about Christmas affiliate programs. That said, what converts for one marketer may not work for another. There are a lots of factors involved, but it's about knowing your audience, choosing the right keywords and the right products.

    Good luck,
    Joey

    Thanks, glad you like it

    Heres my affiliate link:

    http://tshirthell.com/affiliates/reg...parent=Buddzzz

I don't really think it should be a problem to post my affiliate link in here since I originally posted a non-affiliate link, and then you asked for my referral link as an alternative.

But if by chance it is, sorry mods. I apologize. Just know that I wasn't trying to self-promote here, lol as you can see I posted their main page and then someone asked for my link.

I just figured I might as well post it in the thread instead of sending them a PM. Might prevent future readers from asking me to PM them as well.

PS: You should get some shirts for yourself! I get strange looks and stares everywhere I go, its hilarious
