ClickBank Users and Review Copies
As an affiliate, do you buy the products you want to promote, or do you request a review copy, or neither?
I am not asking about best practices and whether you "should" buy them or request review copies or whatever.
I'm asking what YOU actually do.
Vendors, feel free to chime in with your views on review copies as well.
I'm just curious about a few of these things:
Who here approaches vendors individually and requests review copies?
How many vendors and in what span of time?
Are you usually successful? What are the issues you face?
(I'd like to here from affiliates and vendors on this one)
Do you ever just skip requesting a review copy and just buy the product?
(I know sometimes people just use their own affiliate link, then click through the exit pops and buy it at the lowest offered price, in order to get a quick copy of something they might promote)
Vendors, how do you feel about affiliates buying your product through their own link before reviewing it?
I'd love to here about some experiences and what is typical for affiliates and vendors in these situations.
