How can I find a good Wordpress theme?

I've been working on 3 sites and I just can't find a WP theme that I like. Does anyone have any suggestions for finding good, free WP themes? I'm just looking for something clean that will help me to have a well-organized site.

    I either have them custom made or use ThemeForest: Premium WordPress Themes, Web Templates, Mobile Themes | ThemeForest

    However, if you want free ones then WordPress does have a huge database of free themes.

      I design my own, so they do exactly what I want.

      Have you tried looking through WordPress' database? If you google "professional WordPress Themes" you're brought to a bunch of free ones.

      You mention you can't find one that you like, what are you looking for?

    If you tell us the niche we can probably find something for you, can't guarantee it will look professional if you want it to be completely free though.

    I really like Premium WordPress Themes | Elegant Themes ...the themes are professional, modifiable to what you need, lots of goodies to tweak with those, plus you get a new one every month.

      I can definitely second that, I have used their themes for quite awhile and they are definitely worth the price if you're willing to invest.

        Like Tracy and Chase, I also use Elegant Themes. They have great looking themes, with a lot of options. They also have amazing customer support.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

    One of my sites is a quotes site. I'd like people to be able to quickly find quotes based on topic and by author.

    Another site is a blog where I'll be blogging about products that I will eventually be selling from the site.

    And really the quotes site is just up to your personal preference but both need to be very optimized for search engines because they are on extremely competitive fields.

      Three simple ways....

      Visit wordpress websites you like and click on View Source code and see what theme is being used. Then if it is free use the same one or Google "like themex"

      or

      Query Google by color or style or niche and when the results pop up look at images instead of text and you can quickly see which themes you like. Make sure they are free of viruses

      or

      When in your WP dashboard under themes scroll thru different ones that WP offers and query by what you are looking for.

    You will find plenty of tutorial to customize wordpress theme. Search you-tube, you must get some awesome and easy video tutorials.

      You can create/edit your own, but that generally takes longer for most people. And then they don't get the support that would come along with a theme that they bought from someone else.
