Not sure if I am searching for a Viral script

I know I am new just registered and only did my "Introduce" post and start with a question.....
However I am really impressed from WF and hope someone could point me out.
A few days ago I stumbled on a site that used a plugin or script to lock videos and was searching the past days for what it could be (content locking) but didnt find anything.
Here is how it works:
You signup (optin) and get access to the first videos/downloads. Then you can either BUY the course to get access or share a unique link to an amount of your friends e.g. refer them to the site and get access to another video, the more you refer the more access you get.
Anybody here who could point me to what was used?
