Solar Energy Monetization

Hi,

are any of you experienced in the Solar Energy/Geothermal Energy niche? Also a growing German version of the site...

I have a website with 70-110 daily organic visitors, but haven't yet found the spin or Aff program to properly monetize this...

Ideas gladly accepted...

    There are a few nice solar energy info products over on clickbank. You could also try finding some solar energy supply stores that offer an affiliate program.

      will continue to look around...the ones I use (Amazon etc) do not convert very well

    I am new to the IM market and have an interest in Solar Energy as I feel this will be a massive market in the future.
    I have a website relating to this but am not sure if it woulds break the rules to display it as there are affiliate connections in there

      Hi Skywalker, I would steer clear of Earth4Energy, Google has banned that one from Adwords and probably their search engine, because of violating their promotional terms of service.

      I also have a solar energy type site.

      I couldn't find it, (Earth4Energy) on Bing either, pity because it converts at 2%, when l tested it a while back.

      The next best product to that one, or a form of advertising that Google doesn't directly have it's claws in, would be an option.

    Who is you target audience?

    If it's consumers, why would they be searching for solar energy? I would imagine it's because they're interested in buying solar panels.

    What e-book could you sell to those that are interested in buying solar panels?? I don't think there would be much apart from maybe something like "Why NOT to invest in solar energy" or something like that.

    I havn't looked at the e-books that are available, just my intial 2 cents on the topic.

      Amazon has a wide selection of books and products in this very lucrative niche. Demonstrate your expertise in this field and "recommend" books and products on your landing pages. A very effective method is to also to build lists and promote regularly to subscribers. Write articles and submit to targeted ezines, websites, blogs, and consider writing for some offline energy-related consumer magazines.

      I've done extensive research and writing in those niches - they are often combined under "renewable energy resources".

      Get outside the IM mindset on this niche. There are tons of products - you just have to find them. Places to look are sites selling products for

      survivalists
      campers
      wilderness hikers
      surviving natural disasters
      people living off the grid (or dreaming of it)


      There are tons of physical products - and some good books - in the solar niche, geothermal not so much.

      Google the term solar products affiliate and you'll find products.
