Beware From Hackers

Hi,
I am from India(E) and today in the morning newspaper just read that our state weather info. website was hacked by some Pak hacker called Khantastic. The paper mentioned that in the last 3 yrs. this threat has increased drastically basically from Chinese hackers. I think this is a global problem.
The paper also said these hackers try to get access to password to hack the sites.
Well since we all use WP, WP has some nice security plugins and we should use them. I am a designer myself and have seen that many people (my clients) don't use security plugins.

I found this plugin to be useful.

Also from time to time we should change our domain Cpanel password and hosting password. Also we should use premium antivirus in our system as infected files uploaded from our computer to server will make the server infected.

I know that all of U know this facts but just thought to share it......

    most of the sites are venerable, the basic reason to that is most of the developers don't think about the security, and most the sites do have there admin page over the internet, if one want to improve security first block the access of admin pages form the internet, hacker can easily get in to your site from these pages by using scripts .

      it happen with me as well, my yahoo account got hacked and some unsolicited mails sent to my contact list.
      i have just cleared my contact list and moved my all contacts to trash folder this way software cant access it but whenever i need those i have it...usually i dont use my yahoo account for any communication, but still its an important and 8 years old account..
