I Stumbled Upon a Golden Method...This One Works Very Well.

I stumbled upon this great way to build a list and get a lot of sales...thought i'd share it with you guys.

I made a page with a quiz with 10 questions or so...For example-

Do you feel you are smart? Answer the following questions and select true or false.

Q1- Is mount Everest in nepal?

A- YES.
B- NO.

Q2- ....And so on.

At the end of the quiz I go congrats you got 9/10...You are among the top 10% of the population bla bla.

And then put a call to action by saying since you are among the top 10% you have been chosen to recieve a special free ebook or any other incentive you might offer. Enter your email here.

And you can target your quiz based on the niche you are trying to promote. For example I tried this with my product and I had a quiz named does your ex still love you? Answer the following questions to find out and at the end of it I give them some free special tips to get their ex back after they enter the email.

You can also use this same concept on cpa using email or zip submits. Have a small quiz and saying answer all the questions and if you are chosen you will get a free ipod.

And at the end direct them to the cpa offer. I am sure you guys can improvise on this and include your own ideas. Thanks a lot.

Cool idea! What kind of conversion rates did you get and where did the traffic come from?

    Thanks for sharing

Would be interesting to know where you got targeted traffic from.

      Otherwise a good idea

Make the quiz very catchy...Something which challenges and show some results as well as that motivates them. Conversions rates have been as high as 5-6 people submitting their email out of 10. Traffic mainly comes from article marketing.

I taught this a couple years ago with Camtasia.

Inside of Camtasia there is a simple "test" function and you can do super easy multiple choice questions and redirect them wherever you want depending upon their answer.

It's pretty slick but I've never seen many ever take advantage of it.

Quizzes are truly a golden method for building a list and getting leads, if not golden, then easily platinum!

I have a lot of mini sites that are basically just one question ie: What state is Britney Spears from? and then popup a $1.50 zip code submit offer for britney ringtones.

Also here is another trick. You can delay the results and ask them to enter their email address to get the quiz results.

This is a great idea, thanks for sharing this!

Do you use a script to actually calculate the users score, or do you always give them 9 out of 10?

It's always better to make your questions in a way that would give them 9 out of 10 as you need to keep them happy. So formulate some common sense questions which would always lead to good results. Hope this helps.

the camtasia option is good but it would have been better if the url at the end of the video is clickable.

That's a good point but this was just a test I was running in house.

Actually you can make the URL clickable and also ask for an email
address for the results to be sent to.

Thanks Ryan!...I would think the quiz method would work especially well for CPA offers where there was no cost.

Yes you can make a quiz regarding what kind of a house would only like with various pictures...And then provide them with the appropriate lead at the end.
