Warriorforum not loading in Firefox

I am not sure if anybody else is experiencing this issue but every time I try to access warrioforum using firefox either from my home compuer or my phone, I get an error saying

"The page isn't redirecting properly, Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies"

I have been using firefox on my home computer and phone for a long time and I never seen this issue before.

I have no problem accessing any other websit.

Any ideas what happened tothis site? I am usinexplorer now and I hate it!

The same thing has been happening to me, as well, for over a week now. I know that I am using an older version of Firefox (3.6.13) so I presume it has something to do with that.

I also can't access it using Safari. I get this message:

Too many redirects occurred trying to open “http://warriorforum.com/”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page.
I'm also using an older version of Safari (3.2.1)

At least good old Camino will let me in. I'm not upgrading my computer or any of my software until early next year wen I'm planning a major overhaul of everything, so hopefully Camino will continue to work until then.

I use Firefox and do not have this problem. However, one of my phones uses Android and I get the message "Too many redirects" ...haven't thought of disabling cookies, have you tried that with your Firefox problem?

I tried disabling cookies as well as accepting all cookies with no change in bevabior.

I am using Firefox 7.0.1 (I update it thinking that this will solve the problem).

It works fine here on FF. If it doesn't work for you try warriorforum.com/forum and then click home.

Thanks for the tip. It is wierd though

Seems like an intermittent problem, I faced it few weeks ago with Internet Explorer. There are many discussion threads about this problem, and some solutions:

    http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...yone-else.html

    http://www.warriorforum.com/off-topi...-wrong-wf.html

The solution that worked for me is to bookmark Main Internet Marketing forum, and access that first. After that navigation works fine

I had this happen the other day, and had to get in here through an email link, almost freaked out thinking my account got hit with an 'infraction' or sumfin!

I cleared my cookies, did a restart, and all was well. However, I am a die hard Firefox user and this *latest version really sucks!

I've been getting a lot of weird messages in those annoying tool bar pop-ups saying; "Accelerating Now" (When I am watching videos) - "FF has detected High Memory Use and Recommends Closing FF and Restarting Your Browser" -and it's "froze-up" completely like 3x in the last 2 days.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the latest FF version still has some serious "bugs"!

Aside from that, I love it!

I have had it happen in the past. The single issue that fixed it right away was to DELETE ALL WF related cookies (you don't have to delete all cookies, just the WF ones).

Typically when I do that, warrior forum cranks right back up. BTW, it was in FF.

I've been having that problem sometimes as well.

Here's a workaround that works for me:

Just Google "warrior forum" then when the results are returned, just click on one of the links to the sub-forums, not the main page.

That seems to get me into the relevant sub-forum then I'm good to go as if there is no problem.

      Hope that helps.

Weird... on Android I attempted deleting cookies and going through Google, neither worked.

Then I received a WSO email from one of the people whose list I am on, an Voila! It worked and I could navigate through the whole site.

But, if I go back and try to come straight through the browser, or through a search engine, it still doesn't work... Maybe it's time I finally upgrade to Opera Mini?

It happens on IE & Moz FF.

I usually find that googling "warrior forum" and then choosing one of the other Google
links will work (6 options at the time of posting), then just sign in, and proceed as normal. I then save the "entry" page (say WSO) I used into my faves and delete the WF index on I use.

It seems to work if you just "use another door" so to speak, to go into the forum.

Yeah same here has been problematic for about 2 weeks now in IE and Firefox

When I get the error page I just add /members/ on the end of the URL and it loads with something like thread cannot be found. I then just click on the Warrior Logo top left and I'm in so to speak....

While using Firefox I can get into the warrior forum but boy it is slow and it takes forever to load and just not working like the old days. So I stopped using it and install Chrome. At first chrome was working like a charm and then all of a sudden I start getting error messages suggesting that there were too many redirects.

I'm using chrome now to get into the warrior forum but I get an error message given me an option to leave the page or wait. When I click on wait I am able to get into the warrior forum. So what I'm doing now is I have Google as my home page in Chrome and type in the warrior forum in the search box and I go in through the "WSO" link and I'm good to go. I think there's been another thread on this issue and the help desk is well aware of it. I guess we all have to show some patience.

Have cleared cookies and rebooted - so initial search suggests a server config is causing this frustration.

    Maybe someone mentioned this already???

If you're using Firefox, once you get into the Forum, bookmark any particular thread--just not the main home page. Then if you want to come back later, don't go to the main WF home page (which you probably have bookmarked), but go to the specific thread you have bookmarked.

That should work. Then you can proceed from there to wherever you want to go. Works every time for me--try it and see. Hope it works for you! --Mike

I was having the same problems trying to access the warrior forum myself. Recently they sent me an upgrade to Firefox 8.0. The problem seems to have disappeared. While using other versions of Firefox when I tried to come into the warrior forum it took forever to load. So, I installed chrome and I begin to get error messages, like too many redirects. In the past, I visited the warrior forum just about every day.

It was a simple process. I just bookmarked it and clicked no problem. But in recent weeks it has been a problem until I install Firefox 8.0. Now it works like a charm
