These text to video programs are kind of cool but the words spoken are very hard to understand at times and their speaking sounds so computer generated that is hard to listen to. The animations are very good but everything seems to move so slow that I wanted to stop the video around the 45 second mark.

I think the content that you are delivering is good but you would probably be better off either redoing the video with live people, a screen capture slideshow or strip the audio from this video and record your own voice over top so that there is a real person talking.

The call to action is good but it sounds so computer generated that it doesn't do anything to motivate me to want to find out more.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers,
    Robin

The robotic text is difficult to listen to, so I found myself fading out over the course of the video. Maybe make the dialog switch between the two characters a bit more often, and switch the camera angle more often, if you need to use xtranormal for the video.

The computer voice makes the call to action seem like just more words, because those poor little guys just can't use the right inflection to indicate urgency.

Finally, I have no idea what domain they were saying at the end. If you need to have them say it, maybe spell it out or write it on screen.

There's a lot of information to listen to with real specific details. I suspect that cutting the video down to 1 minute and putting the rest of the words on your site in text might help people take the action you are wanting them to.

Even if that might not be what you are looking to do righ tnow, it is definitely worth testing.

    Hey Aaron,

The Xtranormal feature in YouTube is cool, but I think using it to educate/inform serious prospects/customers about products and services is not the best move.

Few suggestions, in order of least effort -

    1. Take the script you've written and re-record it yourself (or get a voiceover artist), then use YouTube's "AudioSwap" feature (you'll see it above the video if you click edit) to replace the audio track - you'll meet to match the timings though.

    2. You might be better with a video based on Powerpoint / Slideshow that has simple slides showing visuals that support your script, so your viewers have something more meaningful to watch.

All of this is about keeping your viewers engaged longer, so they choose to take action on whatever you're offering.

If you want to go the powerpoint route, I made a tutorial that covers it end-to-end -
