How To Make Your First Product Launch Successful

Is having a good product and a high-converting sales copy enough to make your first launch successful? I'm planning a product launch right now and I'm getting a little intimidated at the idea of having to find affiliates to promote my product. I've heard of many first-timers get super-affiliates like Ewen Chia, Anit Singal, etc to promote their product, how can I do the same? I don't even know how to get in touch with these super-affiliates. Any advice from warriors who had a successful first launch?

that is part of what it takes, but I wouldn't rely on just gettign super affiliates. Small time players with lists of 500-3000 people can really drive in some profits.

Plus they are easier to reach and are more likely to promote your offer when approached. When contacting people, you want to give them a mutually beneficial offer.

You might need to mail for them, or put one of their products on your thank you page or something like that. Their are many many ways to get affilaites, just be creative when contacting them, and make it more about them than it is about you.

It's kind of hard to sum up what exactly you need to do in a short reply like this but that will give you a good guideline to follow.

But how exactly do I contact them or find their contact info?

I wouldn't expect to get the huge affiliates on board for your first launch. Just like with anything else you need to prove yourself and get on their radar. Do a couple of smaller launches and start to build yourself a reputation. If your product is a great and converts well you'll be surprised at the amount of affiliates who will find you rather than the other way around.

im going to give you some tips for your launch:
Make alot of banners of all sizes so that your affiliate can use them.
Make a report for them to give away in a squeze page or something like that.Give them alot of resources so thaat they can sell it very good.
Btw if you get low conversions try changing the information but do that later.
      Hope this helped

I really understand your curiosity to get superaffiliates to launch your product, but it's time consuming and sometimes not possible as they all are terrific busy. Moreover they have many contacts and imagine how they can be affiliate of a new person whom they never know.

Affiliates with big lists want to know two things -

    1. Can I stand behind this product and recommend this to my customers?
    2. Do I trust the person selling the product?

Then they're interested in commission, how well your offer is already converting, details etc.

If you help others (eg. doing video reviews on their products) you can get noticed and start to stand out from the crowd. It's the only way I've managed to start up conversations with people I actually follow.

Somehow - some of the people you're trying to attract can wind up on your list... I even had one reply saying he thought I wrote good emails... all came from buying and reviewing his products.

I totally agree with nicholasb, and also I would rather concentrate on smaller players. Since they earn money for a good conversion rate it is up to them to provide valuable potential buyers.

I think that you have a good product and good franchise, will gradually find affiliates more to promote your product

I agree totally with Nicholas B, asking people to become your affiliate with smaller, but responsive lists is in opinion, probably a better way to go as that way you will start earning, and as your buyers list grows, then you can promote for the big boys, and then when you can prove you make them money, I would say it would be easier to ask them to become an affiliate for you.

You need to work closlely with your affiliates is my 2 cents.

I never see any people running affiliate programs offer on going training, they never hold webinars or talk to their affiliates.

A site full of banners and swipe copy is useless. Personal support and regular updates are whats needed in My opinion.

To answer your question is a good product and good sales copy enough the answer is NO.

I launched a wso that converted at 6% but my traffic was very low so I only made about 30 sales. In Hindsight I should of gotten someone on board that was at least established at the WF and then launched with their help.

All my products convert well they just don't get that MEGA traffic that the big guys can generate with a simple mail out.

Check out the JV Forum here there are plenty of people with responsive lists looking for products.

Take care and good luck with your launch, Its an exciting thing to do, enjoy it.
