Over my time here, I've gotten involved with threads about product creation. One of my recurring themes is my disgust with unreadable transcripts, but I really haven't had a good example to point to of what I thought a good transcript looked like.
Until now... Carline Anglade-Cole interviewed by Clayton Makepeace | The Total Package This interview is well-edited, well-formatted and easy to read. It's the kind of transcript that would add real value to an audio or video product. |

Hey, John ~
Have you been the victim of a bad transcript? Sorry to hear that...I know there's lots of junk out there. Thanks for mentioning how a good transcript adds real value to a product! I concur! ~ Tara |

I just got a back a transcription back that was terrible. I think they just used a machine or something. So I'm now spending a few hours re-editing it since I would have been embarrassed to release it as is. I think that is why you see a lot bad transcriptions out there. I just can't believe people release it like that when it has their name attached to it.
Thanks for the link. Clayton Makepeace is awesome. |

Some heavy word processing and formatting skills on this one. Doesn't look like a substandard service was used here, but what did they use to convert from audio? Any ideas?
