I don't believe any income online will be truly passive. If you want passive then start investing in stocks.

I would stop worrying about passive income and just build a business that you can hire others to run. That is about as close to passive income you will get.

I both agree and disagree.

Back in 2004/2005, I had a truly passive business in which I could bash out portal sites, they'd get indexed with a day, and then for months on end, they'd deliver me big huge bunches of profits.

Ah, those were the days!!

Because Google loved those sites, I had a constant supply of traffic. It baffled my parents to no end.

Then Google killed those sites, and the trainride was over. Wah!

Nowadays, I think Thomas is right. You have to *work* on keeping your relationships up, your authority online, and all that jazz.

As I see it today, probably the best way to earn a passive income is to find a reputable affiliate program in which you can recruit sub-affiliates several layers deep.

Initially there is a bit of a slog recruiting the right affiliates ...affiliates that are prepared to work at the business, but when you have found these, your income can be truly passive as you can if you wanted too, sit back and let your sub-affiliates earn your income for you.

Of course, depending on your aspirations and financial goals, you would be mad to rely solely on a passive income and continue to work at your business recruiting more.

How i make a passive income online!

ill give you a brief explanation! 3 months ago i started with a program called justbeenpaid. you buy positions for 10$ a piece who whill you give you 2% rendement each day.. each day!! positions last 75 days, after 75 days they expire, and for every 4 posistions you bought u get a free 20$ position in a subsystem of justbeenpaid, this positions cycles when you fill a 2x2 matrix and payes out 60$. you can daily invest your earnings to get a higher daily return on investment!

there are also commisions to be earned in 1st and 2nd level. first level referrals give you 10% over each new position they bought, 2nd level referrals give you 5% comissions on each position they buy..

How are you getting along with JSS Tripler? I have been looking at this for some time, I see no big internet marketer have been endorsing this, are they unfamiliar with it? do they don't approve of it? or they just keeping it too themselves?

Generally is something if worthwhile, then at least some big internet marketing names generally attach their name too it.

What factors is there that could potentially seize this operation and stop the money in the JSS Tripler Account not being paid out?

i.e. if I have accumulated for example $10,000 and don’t withdraw this in order to compound more, what risks are associated with the operation of this program being stopped and not paying this money out any longer- because in order to make money you have to accumulate it via the compounding style program.

How do we know that once I have compound a $10,000 over x amount of month, could someone just turn around stop this and not pay out the monies due???

Just my concern, system looks great, I know people are making small money from it via compounding, but I have yet to come across anyone who has compound $1000’s and withdraw this yet???

Couldn't agree more with Thomas' statement here. We all think we can build it and forget about it, but after a couple years in this business it's quite evident that there is always going to have to be input into your business if you want to truly maximize it's potential. Sure you can write an ebook and sell it for $27 over and over, but let's face it, you're not getting rich anymore by selling an ebook.

My revenue is totally passive, in the sense that I can take time off and the business will continue to generate revenue. Yet make no mistake, I'm working on my business as much as I can to keep improving it, to grow, etc.

Technically, I do make some passive income in that I have a few sites I haven't touched in years, but that still earn a fair amount. I stopped working on them to work on other things I felt would be (and, in fact, turned out to be) more profitable.

Overall, I'd agree with Thomas. It most likely is possible to build a group of niche blogs or fixed-term membership sites that, if need be, can be left alone for a month or two without much drop in revenue. Even then, though, you can't just "set and forget" and retire.

That said, I have come to the realization of late that in order to maintain and increase this income, work and keeping up to date with trends is necessary. This might seem quite obvious to some, but the struggle is generating enough IM income to give up your offline work life such that you can dedicate more hours to your online pursuits.
  
  There certainly is no 'click these three buttons' and the IM world is your oyster!

How many people make passive income?

I don't actually believe there is a passive way to make income, you can spend some time developing a site and driving traffic which can then run itself so to speak however you have customers that come in who need help and support and that is not passive it is still trading time for dollars and dollars for time. as Michael Hiles would say.

Oh I know you can put products up in other marketplaces who handle everything, sure but if you don't drive traffic to the page and promote the product you will be lost in the sea of products out there.

Well you run a membership site using Jimmy D Brown's method of loading an auto responder, sure, all of these things are great but they all require you to initially put effort out and then take care of the people who buy. Even if you use a marketplace like say Amazon.com yes they deal with customers however, you still have to get people knowing the product is available, if you think just tossing a product up is going to produce some kind of magic solution it doesn't. well I can outsource that. sure then you have employees to deal with.not to mention you have to know how to do it properly or you will find yourself very frustrated very quickly.

point is that people look for the easy way out and that quite frankly is the most horrendous thing a person could do. Now I make sales on sites I put up a while back, people could say that is passive, but I will tell you unless you continually are bringing your product or service before eyeballs passive becomes pita real quick. Awful cool having sales come in just wanted to bring a different perspective one way or another you work

I don't actually believe in passive income either. But I do believe that you, through IM, are capable of setting up a business where you are not trading hours for dollars.

Once the work has been done (eg. the writing) then the upkeep is significantly less compared to actually providing a service, like writing an article, where the work load is the same all the time.
