1)Site has no title.
2)Page/Header loads fine.
3)Be very careful of where you get your images from.
4) This belongs in the Website Design part of the forum.

I just checked out your blog, it seemed like it loaded slow, but that could be my internet connections doing.

I would suggest changing the title of your posts...

You want visitors to stay and read through your blog posts. You need to add some "flare" to your titles. I would recommend checking out the copy-writing section for some tips.

Titles are the first thing that visitors look at, you need to grab them with it.

I'd put a meta title for the home page targeting your primary keyword.

I like the theme and design.

I'd add an optin box in the sidebar for your list.

Networking is very important if you want to be successful and getting yourself out there and asking GOOD questions is a bonus...

I see so many people bitch and complain and never do anything but procrastinate...

You now have a site built...next get your TITLE fixed and I also suggest you change your permalink structure...other than that the site looks good for a starter site...

Loads quick over on this side of the world. However, the minute I land there, you're hitting me with a pop-over opt-in box. Whoa!! I'm not ready to subscribe to you ... I don't even know you ... how about letting me see the site first and then offering a subscription.

Your blog loads quickly in my browser. What hosting provider do you use? I observe that you use Wordpress for your blog, I suggest that you use Hostgator. Wordpress blogs load faster when you use Hostgator. Just my opinion basing from experience.

It's a nice site. Go to Settings/General in your Wordpress dashboard and fill in the bit that says "site title". I use tabs in my browser and your site home page gives a blank tab. It needs a name.

I agree with Kevin. Either ditch the pop-up and put your subscription box in the sidebar, or at least add a 5 / 10 second delay so people get a chance to see the site before hitting them with the subscriber box.

Hello Jay,

Nice design.

Your "welcome" post is showing at the bottom of the page though, and it would be more logical to have this at the top. You can achieve this in Wordpress by making the post "sticky", so it will always display at the top of page.

It's a free wordpress template which is very cool, got it one of my own niche websites as well. I want to give you the following advice; Try getting your post syndicated with twitter and facebook to get some social value as well.
