An age old question with a twist...

Hi all,

I was looking at AWeber and MailChimp, and actually signed up to MailChimp.

I'm looking for email software like that, but something more simple (I know they've already simplified the UI heaps).

So simple that it literally has a list, and I write the email to send. Nothing more than that.

Any tips/ideas?

Also, why do we buy these services when we already have email accounts? As in, no doubt many IMers have a hosting account, and most hosts give email services like the above too. I'm guessing these services simplify the process for large lists?

If using MailChimp do NOT include affiliate links under any circumstances. You could quickly find your account terminated. MailChimp states that they do not allow affiliate links to be broadcast through their service.

If promoting your own products that is one thing, but don't promote other products as an affiliate.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

Thanks for the tip, I wouldn't have known that.

So true. I'm really struggling to find a reason to pay $200 per year for this though (via AWeber). I think I'll stick to MailChimp until my list grows more.

Heh, I see. I get a limit of 400 or 200 per hour right now on my host, but I've been told I can lift that. I also get unlimited via Announce Lists but that's a pain to use.
I can totally understand why you'd need this kind of service now...

Thank you very much for the link!!!

      Thanks all.
