I am starting a freelance business and I need some kind of software that will charge clients credit cards on a monthly basis. Any suggestions?

Why don't you use PayPal's Subscription Payments to start with?

Simple to set up and you can start accepting payments straight away!

Then when your business is expanding and your doing well have a secure payment page coded into your website.

Well, it really depends on what you can spend.

The free way to do this is to use a Paypal Subscription.

To collect credit card information on your own, you need a merchant account and a shopping cart. Of course, if you are not already making money you should rethink using this option since it can be expensive.

There are other services like Paypal that you can use that are not expensive, but it's completely up to you.

Paypal is what you need. You can look for an alternative if paypal don't accept your country.
