Stupid Question or The Real Truth

Lets keep this straight!... You have a method which makes you $1k/day, at what price are you willing to share that method with the world?

Answer the Poll please.
  1. <$1000 [$17,$37,$67... etc]
  2. >$1000 [2x, 3x, 5x etc...]
  3. you will not... you read the story of the hen which gave gold eggs
  4. Lets see, maybe after 1 year, the method stops working, I have the proofs for the sales pitch, dying method or fool's gold?

PS: indicative!...

You left out one important piece of information. Would selling the method cause competition that would negatively effect that 1k/day income? The answer to that being a yes or no would drastically change most people's answers I think.

Joseph beat me to it. Just hype and sales pitch. Most likely not an honest one. But if the person is making that much? Great for them, I doubt the method would translate to being easy money. That type of money takes a lot of work.

I'd share the method with a few serious people and ask $500 or above to share the method.

I didn't answer the poll because there wasn't enough information given. And I truly feel sorry for anyone who selected the last alternative. Selling played out gold mines to unsuspecting rubes is not a nice game to play.

      On to the question...

Scenario 1: The effectiveness of the method can be affected by the number of people using the method.

I keep that sucker secret. A secret shared by two people is no longer a secret.

In a related example, I used to have a system for playing the horses. I wrote a computer program to analyze a series of factors and put out a relative ranking of each horse. It was amazingly successful when I had the discipline to bet wisely. Then the DRF started printing similar ratings right in the racing form - anyone who bought one had access to the same information I had. The winning percent stayed the same, but the winning odds went way down, and it killed the profitability of the method.

Scenario 2: The effectiveness of the method cannot be negatively affected by the number of people using it.

I sell as many copies of that baby as I can at whatever the optimum price turns out to be.

Scenario 3: The method is played out.

Like my horse racing program, the method goes into a graceful retirement. When I look in the mirror, I want to be able to look that guy straight in the eye. Ripping people off by selling them something that no longer works would make that very hard to do...

Nice examples sir, the pitch says... just by working 20 minutes a day... 5-10 clicks of the mouse... you can earn $1k/day... People who have been here, related to what we call IM, i think know its a rip off, but think about those, who are broke, maybe because of recession got those last pennies with them, start to search for a online Job, that can help them sustain, search google for making money online, first SEO gets them, then these sales pitches, ultimately they end up paying their pennies for dreams they saw while reading the pitch... and just think they would recover every thing... what do they get?... plain Fluff or stupid Hype?... or say tons of work, which would take 10 years to complete, only if the entire family sat down together to get it done...

These sales pitch... should be disowned by the IM industry, these are killing the ethics!..

No offenses sir, anyone here... Just Thinking What I shouldn't maybe... its a bad bad world!

if we even consider he was making it, he would not care to distribute this method for 50 stale bucks, he would earn that much like in an hour or so...

Assuming it is true. Why not sell it for that much? If he is making that much a day, he doesn't really "need" money, and could be selling it as a "good" deed. Although, the point I was trying to make is even if he is making 1k/day, the method may be hard to reproduce (writing their own sales copy, finding niches, etc) or take so much time and effort, most people will give up. So if that is the case, selling it shouldn't hurt his income. Plus, 50 may be the price point in which he feels he will get the most sales. 500 sales at 50 is much better than 20 says at 200.

I make a lot more than $1 a day and I won't "sell it" - because there's no secret method. Many of the things I do in my writing and my sites are open knowledge on this forum.

The only "secret" to them is you have to WORK at it and keep working at it.

When I see popup that stops me from exiting a site - or offers me a "great deal"....I don't buy from that site AT ALL, any time. If more people would refuse to be bullied into doing "something", those tricks would disappear.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

You are changing the subject. If you wanted to rant about "medicine show marketing" why not just join the chorus and skip all this poll nonsense?

        Agreed.

Once you've acquired the knowledge to make $1-200 a day online, what you earn from there depends entirely on your work ethic.
