Hey guys, I was wondering if knew of any Squidoo software. I'm not after something to automate the process of creating the lenses, but rather something where you can manage all of your accounts in the one place to look at traffic stats etc. Does anything like this exist? Cheers. |

You can do this for all the lenses in one account right on your Squidoo dashboard, but are you asking how to do it for multiple accounts? That I don't know (and would like to!). Kevin |

Yep, I've seen the multiple lenses for the one account on the dashboard. Many people have A LOT of accounts and it can be quite a tedious task keeping track of all of them, not to mention time consuming! I am yet to see anything out there that can do this, but I'm hoping I'll be proven wrong. Maybe someone with the skills to make one could make a nice little wso?? |

While this isn't what you're looking for, it will save you a LOT of time. Squidoo Tag Buddy - Fill out Squidoo Tag Fields Effortlessly! If you are making a lot of Lenses every day, adding tags manually can get tiresome quick. I discovered this site and have used it since. (not my site or affiliate link, etc) HTH, Jim |

Thanks for that mate. It will be a good time saver. I'm still hopeful that one of the Squidoo guru's will pop in here with a solution! |

Yes it is. If you can find something on Google that can do what I proposed then I'd be happy to have a look.

What do you want your ideal Squidoo tool to do? Be specific and shoot for the moon. Then maybe we can get BIG Mike and Diego to whip something up. John |

There is nothing available yet for managing multiple accounts, though there are a number of addons/enhancements that are provided by some third-parties: > Official Squidoo extension for Firefox > Squidoo Dashboard Firefox Extension > Squidoo Enhanced - Addon for Firefox > Advanced Dashboard for Squidoo Lensmasters (all browsers) Meanwhile, I'll see what I can put together to make managing multiple accounts easier for you... (Edit: this was the result: Squidoo Toolbar) Oh, and you can also use a third-party site to gather the traffic stats from all your lenses, across all of your accounts: Detailed Traffic Stats for Lenses - complete with beautiful graphs and stuff. |

Also, as the fluffanutta mentioned, detailed traffic statistics on ALL of your lenses in the one place. I'm sure there are other things that people would like to see. Hopefully they'll chime in. Quote:

Haha, I was waiting for someone else to respond aswell but I didn't want to bump it again. I'm suprised there isn't anything like this available. I imagine it would be very popular if created.. |

This is why I keep all of my lenses in a single account, as it makes managing them so much easier. While there are arguments for keeping each nice in it's own account, I really can't be bothered with them. There is this tip from CaptainSquid.com on how to view multiple squidoo accounts at once, though it's only effective for 2 or 3 accounts. Meanwhile, I've been giving this some thought, and I think I might have figured out a solution - leave it with me, and I'll see what I put together for you... PS: would you want this for free, or would you be prepared to pay a little bit for it? |

Yeah, but once you have lenses within the hundreds it becomes a bit more difficult to only use one account. haha Well, depending on the functionality of it and what it could do it could probably be worth something, but everyone loves things for free? haha. Either way, I think it would be something A LOT of people would be interested in. |

Inspired by the needs of forthwrite, I have built a browser toolbar that gives you quick and easy access to all of your accounts. It has a whole bunch of other useful tools too. Still in beta, so there may be a few bugs and issues to sort out. If you have installed this, I would appreciate any feedback you can give me. ![]() PS: Free. |

Hey, this is forthwrite, I changed my account. The toolbar has been a tremendous help, very easy to use! I recommend it to anyone who uses Squidoo! I have a couple of ideas that could also help. In the "workshop" - "make a lens" tab, there are pre-made templates that you can use, I generally use the same template for most of my lenses and if I was able to have my own template in there that would be a huge help. Also, if there was an option to see all the traffic stats from all of the accounts at the one time would also be helpful. I don't know if either of the two things above are feasible, and its definitely great the way it is, I just thought that if there was anything that could be improved those would be the two things. Thanks again! |

Thanks for the ideas anyway. If you (or any one else) have other ideas to add to this toolbar, let me know. | |||
