Facebook won't take my email - HELP

I am trying to set up a new Facebook account for a project. I entered my email address, double checked it and even copied and pasted it in from my email. I have got 'Please enter a valid email address.' error three times.

I can't find anything in the help section that addresses this. Anyone have any ideas what I can do?

Just a thought: is your e-mail address legit or is it something like @mailinator.com? I've already come across some sites that block these domains. Not sure if it's facebook's case too.

This email is one from a domain I own. I sent myself an email to that addy and it came though fine.

As far as I know, they reject emails with "generic" names such as info, admin, etc because the account is supposed to be personal and those emails are usually used by companies.

      Maybe this is your case.

That;s definitely true. I tried to set up a FB page using help@mydomain.com and it rejected it. I finally set up facebook@,mydomain.com and it accepted it.

It was an admin@ email addy. So that is the reason then. I use it quite a bit, like article marketing etc. Now I got to set up another one. I got so many email coming into my email client it isn't even funny. Oh well, if that their rule, what you gonna do?
