Visitors going down. What is the reason?

Hello warriors, I have been blogging for more than 6 months. Last month i had most visitors till to date now i am having the problem that visitors are going down. they have reduced more than 50 % of the total per day. I checked the keywords for which i have been ranked in last month, google shows the same ranking.
What is the reason, why visitors are going down ?

    You might need to do some detailed metrics evaluation. What are you using to monitor your traffic? I hope you are using Google Analytics. That way you can at least get an idea of what you were hitting hard for in the past.

    You need to identify what you were trending for in your stats. Has that major hot booster topic or keyword or item begun to wane in the real world? Your topics are not going to be alive forever. Everything fades. You have to keep on producing content to keep the numbers up. Are you writing new articles?

    Have you dropped in Google ranking for your specific heavy hitting topics?
    Do you know where you were ranking versus where you are ranking now?

    Just some ideas.

    Traffic would also depend on the niche you're on.
    Someone may have opened up a micro niche site within your niche to pull your traffic, try to focus on more keywords

    Have you been updating your blog and making regular posts? How long has your blog been up and running?

    And how many searches monthly are your main keywords getting?

    We need hard numbers to do a real break down. I'm guessing that you're ranking number 1 for low keywords or in a niche that doesn't get much traffic and that's probably the real underlying problem right there.
