Need Advice On Where To Find Someone Who Needs A VA!

hi,

I'll go straight to the point. I wish to offer my services as a VA (Virtual Assistant). Anyone has any idea where can I find Internet Marketers who might need to hire one? I do not want to look up Freelancer as the rates offered is very low.

thanks in advance for any help,
Stella

Hi, check out the 'warriors looking to hire you' section or place a classified. Alternatively go to eLance.com or oDesk.com.

You might have to work for competitive rates to start with until you get a clientele base who know your work and until you get some decent stats going for other people to see.

    Good luck

Hi Rach, you're definitely right about that. Both of those sites offer great services. OnlineJobs.ph is also a great site to check out.

You can also try using classifieds like Craigslist. I know several people who have found VA gigs there by responding to posts as well as posting their own. Just look in a lot of major cities.

  • Some great suggestions above..

My advice would be to create and develop a profile on LinkedIn. Then ask clients to write recommendations for you.

Use your profile as your online résumé.

There's also various groups in LinkedIn where you could join.

I've found several amazing VAs this way so it does work!

I am a VA and have found work on this forum in the Warriors-Looking to Hire You section (there is currently someone looking for a full time VA in that section. I have also got jobs from other forums.

I would also suggest putting your profile on some freelance websites such as ODesk. if you complete your profile properly members may also search for you - which is what has happened to me before.

    Good luck!
