There isn't much talk about an Amazon aStore around here so I decided to test it out to see if it works. I targeted a more generic keyword like "cheap fishing supplies" then within the website I had a few different aStores. One for maybe "fishing poles", another for "fishing baits" etc.

Mine is embedded within my website. Got it ranking at the bottom of the first page in the SERPs. So far, I've gotten a pretty good conversion rate. They don't just order 1 or 2 items, they order a bunch at a time and so your commission percentage ramps up pretty quickly.

Another way to make money online

That's cool- are you using SEO to get all of the traffic? Or other sources, too?

Just search engine traffic for the moment.

Astores are great. You are doing it the right way by embedding it. If you don't embed it and link directly to your aStore that is a violation of the associates TOS. Just wanted to throw that out there in case anyone is thinking about cutting corners and not getting a website up and embedding the store. Many people do it, but is one of those things that , you might get away with it for awhile, but if they eventually find out that you are direct linking, they will terminate your associates account.

I didn't know this info. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. I guess I've got some video descriptions to rework.

    Congratulations on your results!

Now how about putting an opt-in on your site so you can get more repeat business from your customers (if you haven't already got it set up yet of course).

So you're putting other information on the aStore page and embedding it?

For most people doing Amazon, aStores don't convert well, but they're probably not adding extra content to the page the way you do. That's key.

Did you add other content to the aStore or is it ranking with just backlinks alone?
