is there a way you can DM all your
followers with just one single
braodcast?

which tool can i use for it?
tweetlater can only allow you to DM
only new followers not all of your old
followers

I hope there isn't, but my personal feelings aside, I don't think there is one.

I agree with Alice, I hope there isn't. I'd regard it as spam and unfollow immediately.

You can use GroupTweet to set up a group of fellow twitterers and you can then broadcast tweets across the group via the communal stream.

Because you ask individuals to join the group and they're aware that they may well receive broadcast messages, it's sort of like the double opt-in equivalent for Twitter.

      GroupTweet

Why DM them when they're already following you?

That's kinda the purpose of having followers, right?

DM spam is a quick way to get unfollowed or blocked, IMO.

Thanks Brian. I agree. There is no reason to hit the same people twice with the same message.

It would be a very bad idea people would think that you where spamming them. just post as usual on twitter with your offers like i do.

Yeah, why would you want to DM everyone?

Just create a Tweet. In fact, make lots of Tweet and don't try to directly market with any of them.

    At least, I don't.

Reminds me of when the time that certain someone made twitter login page and DM everyone for "hey I found your picture on http:xxxx".

Many people got their account stolen because of this, so people might more cautious about this, could ruin your reputation badly if you do this.

I've been on Twitter for a bit and find that most of the people I run into seem to be marketers themselves.

So while I'm getting traffic, overall, I'm still trying to figure out if Twitter has more sellers than buyers.

(BTW I'm just offering free stuff on Twitter right now and testing the crowd through the kind of followers I'm getting.)

Oh I forgot, another way to send DM without spammy feeling is by using tweetlater.
There you can go to the option automatically send DM to people that follow you, you can say "Thanks for following me, if you're interested in ... please go to ...."

I'd rather receive promotion like this than having people suddenly send links through DM without me asking for it.
