Managing Buyer List and Freebie List

All of my lists have been for different sites, but now I would like to create a buyer list and a freebie list for my PLR store.

Here is my question:

How to I set it up so they will both get the autoresponder series and the broadcasts, but not have them get them over again if they sign up for the freebie list, then buy something? Or buy something and then buy something else?

I use Aweber.

Basically, I am offering an email course on using PLR along with free articles for my freebie list, but I would like my buyer's list to also get the email course, but I want them on separate lists. I also don't want them to end up on both lists getting the series twice...

I think Aweber is smart enough not to send the same email twice to the same address. Plus you can add automation rules to avoid such things I think.

This is just from reading somewhere earlier. I could be totally wrong.

    Amanda,

In Aweber they have an option for you to press that will keep users from receiving multiple emails. I'm not sure where it's at but if I find out I will let you know!

Also.. There is another alternative.. Aweber offers an option to transfer users between lists. So if you have two lists, one freebie and one buyer, you can set it so whenever they buy from you they get transferred to the buyers list and will be deleted from the free list.

Wouldn't transferring them start them over in the series and make them confirm again?

Um.. I don't know about starting them over.. But it shouldn't make them confirm again.

Start them over - yes; make them confirm again - no, as I recall (I don't use aweber).

You may want to contact aweber support and see if there's a setting or hidden field you can add to the form to carry over their place in the sequence.

you can set it up in the settings so if someone out the free list subscribes to the paid list then they get unsubscribed from the free.

therefore they will only be on the paid list

In the automation setting in aweber, you can set it such that the person who subscribes to a list automatically gets unsubscribed from another. This is automatic and does not require the person to confirm again. But ya, the problem with this approach is that the person will still get the autoresponder series all over again from the new list.
