Does the forum support 'Push' notifications.

Just a thought, and not sure if it would stymee workload and such. I think it's called 'a push notification' as in receiving replies to a thread you have written on, like FB on your smart phone...

Does anyone have any thoughts...

Cheers

Its called subscribing to thread here.

Click on "thread tools" above the first post in any thread and choose "subscribe to thread".

You can also make it to automatically subscribe to every thread you post on. Its an option somewhere in the User CP.

The default notification here is once a week for any topic you've posted on. You can change that any time you post. The third box below the text box that you type in has choices under 'notification type.'

You can choose daily, instant, or none at all. Is that what you were asking?

Hi Lloyd. That's pretty much it. I get instant notifications of new posts and 'likes' on FB Some I can then use to further 'connect' with those who have added to the pot, so to speak.
I didn't research the tools here I know, but wil do.

Thanks for your help and reply. Oh and thanks for all the replies also.

I've learned so much here and continue to do so.

    Regards
