Two Big Tips for New Warriors Who Don't Care For Grandma

Oops, I meant grammar... Anyway!

Just a real quick post which should give new warriors a leg up in communicating with others here (I've seen this happen a bit so thought I'd make a quick friendly post).

1) Grammar, spelling and punctuation are very important to how you're perceived here, the quality of response you receive, and who responds to you.

2) Having said that, if you're not too great at English (perhaps it's your second language?) then there are only TWO things you need to do to make your posts look better.
a) Capitalize the first letter of a sentence, someone's name, some place's name, or some organization's name. Easy, huh?
b) If you have FireFox, make sure your post is free of spelling mistakes. Also, don't bother with slang, text speech or shortening of words in any way.


Finally here's a case study:

Before:
hey guize im bob - new here lol. how r u all?? hoping 2 get 2 now u all prty soon and lrn sum markting stratgies asap so i can get my site off da ground hey lolz.

After:
Hey everyone, I'm Bob - new here haha! How are you all? Hoping to get to know you all pretty soon and learn some marketing strategies as soon as possible, so that I can get my site off the ground hey haha!


Notice the amount of slang used, and notice how little time was saved writing it - plus you come across in a negative light to many others here.

It's so simple to do: Capitalize the first letter of a sentence, Run a spell check - DONE!
