What would you do to make this directory site successful?

I have a gourmet gifts website that is in the early stages of being laid out. It only has a couple of paid advertisers now. The rest are there to fill it out but my hope is for it to be full of paid advertisers.

The site is igourmetgifts.com. It's getting some traffic (150+ per day). I know I'm going fundamentally wrong somewhere. It's still early so maybe we can change it and get on the right road. What are your expectations when you see the domain name?

I am particularly interested to hear from successful directory owners about what I should do next. With your input this can be successful. Thanks.

    The letter i before a name always makes me think of Apple and iPhone products, so a clean, white, simple design with really basic pages would be in order. Maybe something less cluttered with the menus up top, more basic categories and get rid of those hideous double sidebars.
