What Are Some Good Email Lists To Follow?

Hey all, I've decided I'm going to get into list building. I've tried a couple of times before but failed to convert anyone into buyers.

I intend to persist now and really make it work. Do you know of any lists that are known to convert? I'd like to join these lists and see how good marketers build a relationship with their list.

Lists in any niche are welcome. General list-building advice from experienced Warriors is also welcome.

Thanks in advance for your reply, whatever that may be

I think Paul's TalkBiz is about the only IM-related list I'm still subscribed to and make a point of reading with any regularity, myself, actually.

(Or at least it would be if I didn't continue to receive so much spam from other marketers whose lists I swear I've tried time and again to leave. Spam filtration's come a long way though, thankfully, so I rarely have to actually read that even if I still get it.)

But yeah, can't go wrong with Myers, he's got the whole rapport-building thing nailed. Just a shame the one thing I want from him most of all isn't easily imparted: his writing skills. )

Paul's is very good. Andre Chaperone's is pretty good, too. It's a different style than Paul's, but I would think you'd get value out of seeing how he operates.

Paul's newsletters are excellent; it is one of the few that I always look forward to reading. Pay attention to how Paul does things, there is a lot a person could learn from watching how he markets to his subscribers.

Jump on the email lists of marketers and companies who have their s**t together.

If you are a buyer, obviously you will be on a list that receives carefully crafted copy to send to their repeat buyers--but you may save yourself some money if you find a copywriter course selling a bunch of swipes.

Always be testing. Split test every component of every thing you do so that you are constantly converting better and better.

By the way, what niche are you asking about?
