Keyword Help - Google Keyword Tool

Hi,

I'm needing some help with understanding how I know a keyword is one I need to focus on.

So I did a search and there are several keywords with 2,000 + searches and no advertising competition or low competition.

Does that mean I should target these?

So let's say I find 50 keywords (products) would I write 50 articles basically describing each product?

Let me know.

Thanks,

Craig

    Hi smartsites.

What exactly your objective is? People search for keyword for different reasons.

For one site or one page, 50 keywords sounds too much.

It is different for the different search engines. Yahoo likes more keywords but I think if you get beyond 8.5% density you might get punished by Google.

Just having random lists of unrelated keywords can't be very good. I think you'll need contextualize them somehow.

From what I can gather your "putting the cart before the horse." Before you do ANYTHING your going to have to educate yourself to the importance of keywords and WHY they are used (there's several reasons). Keywords are extremely important whether your going to use article marketing or PPC. Do some homework BEFORE you pick your next niche and it will payoff.

There is a site called www.webspyppc.com that has a good tool for figuring out your competition's keywords that they pay for.
