Google not indexing my posts?

Hey everybody.

I started up a new website about a week ago (a CB review site).

Google indexed the main page & the 'about' page within an hour or so of me getting everything started. Awesome, right?

However, now I have two reviews up on the site (one 4 days old and the other 3 days old). Unfortunately, they are not being indexed by Google.

When I type in site:myurlhere.com into Google, only my main index shows up. It would seem that my 'about' page has been deindexed now too.

I am using Webmaster Tools and have a sitemap up and running. I have no idea why Google is being so fickle.

Any ideas?

Your site's brand spankin' new - be patient. It'll take some time before you have your pages indexed.

Meanwhile, go build some relevant backlinks. It helps, you know? BIG time.

    Stop worrying, start doing.

Its probably not so much that Google is being fickle as that your new domain doesn't have much standing in the search engines yet.

You could try making a couple of posts that link to your review pages using the anchor text keyword phrase that you optimized your reviews for. Then submit your RSS feed to some of the aggregators.

You could also try using a piece of software like IndexBot that Big Mike publishes through Incansoft. This will give your domain a bunch of new links from sites that get spidered regularly, and it helps even if your site is already indexed.

Incansoft is running a sale to help ken Strong right now and the software is at a bargain prices

You could also try something like SocialMonkee and get some bookmarks to your individual pages and posts.
