How to get started! Warrior help and ideas!

Hi,

I would like to become a full time internet marketer. Over the last few years I have done a little bit of affiliate marketing, making about 10k, but nothing to really speak of.

I would like to devote everything it takes to do this full time, but I am not really that "techie". I am basically starting from "knowing nothing".

What do you guys suggest as far as getting started? Do I need to learn programing or design to help in my growth, is there some must have books, I am really lost and looking for a mentor and some direction.

    Since you have some experience in the past, why dont you create a free report and launch it. You will get subscribers this way and you can promote to them in the future.. THere really is no need to learn programming unless you want to, it can easily be outsourced. Of course there are some books that help you, but I would reccommend doing it all yourself first, then getting a mentor

      Dont worry about the techie stuff. You can always outsource stuff like that pretty cheap. Here is what you do since you arent new and have made some money in the IM world already:

      1. Write down everything that you have been successful at in the past.
      2. Pick and choose one or two areas that you liked doing the most.
      3. Scale up these areas.

      You already know it works so just scale up and over time, your income should explode as well.

      It's not really Brain Surgery but rather simple if you break it down like that.

    Since you have already made some money with affiliate marketing, why don't you just do affiliate marketing via a niche blog? It's a legitimate long-term strategy that allows you to generate residual income, generate various income streams from the same blog, and allows you to write about things you already have interests in. There's a reason all the people making substantial income online have one.

    Because you already have some experience in it, you won't have much or a learning curve. There are also gonna be tons of products in various niches launched at the beginning of the year and what not. Once you make a sale doing something, it's all about duplicating your success. All you have to do is figure out a profitable niche that you like. People are always trying to lose weight weight, quit smoking, or find that someone special, especially with the new year -- endless possibilities.

    Along the lines of some comments. You can take the success you've had and
    use that information to create a WSO which can get you name recognition
    and a buyer's list you can use and add to.

    Since you have already made $10k doing affiliate marketing, why not continue & concentrate on the method that's already working for you? Scale it up!

    why not continue with the success you have already had or write about the steps you have taken and sell it as an wso I would think that many people would be interested in how you accomplished your success,

    There are many ways to get started. I personally like to start with finding a niche, building a list, giving my list a lot of valuable information and once in a while promoting affiliated programs to my list that are low cost and high value.

    Then, I create blogs and do all the other things to promote my squeeze pages.

    I get one niche going in about a month or 2, then move on to another niche and do it again.

    I had absolutely no technical knowledge either but found a lot of helpful information for free (after I spent a lot of money on stuff with big promises that didn't work.)

    You can make a living doing IM, but you must treat it like a business and stay focus to build it up over time.

    There is no other way regardless of what all the headlines say.

    I would really focus on social media sites! Try and build up a large list that you can constantly market too! I would also use forums and classified ads to help bring in some free traffic. You can definitely make a full time living online but you just need to do it smartly.

    If you have already made around 10k with affiliate marketing then I think you have found your calling - that's a good figure and more than a lot of affiliate marketers are making. I would suggest you making a note of how you made that money -what works and what didn't and build on that.

    Once you have got back in the swing of affiliate marketing you could write a report with case study about what worked for you to get to that figure and be a guide to newbies. Whatever you are unable to make (sales letter/writing the ebook etc.) you can easily outsource.

    Once you have got a good product then you can try and joint venture and do list swaps etc.

    stick to affiliate marketing, I would say... you already have some experience in that field, you made some money, you know how things work... why don't you stick to that and try to scale it? affiliate marketing in huge money maker, especially if you devote your time to it... additionally, I would suggest you to try to improve your way of doing affiliate marketing... maybe by finding additional sources of traffic or backlinks, doing more social bookmaring and networking, video marketing, and try to improve those fields...

    in general, what you really need, as far as I get it, is more traffic to your affiliate offers... try to work more on that and more money should come into your pocket...
