The reason for lack on input is its really none of anyone's business how much someone makes through a list or how much they make online etc.

It is proven the money is in the list as well as many other things.

You can make anywhere from $1 to Hundreds of thousands depending on what you are promoting, but just because one person is making $100,000 from a list means nothing to the next list owner who may make only a fraction of that for an identical mailing.

Personally I send out Value to my list, and I never just send a CRAP email saying go buy the next Clickbank product.

I try to build rappor with my list, but I see there are 2 type of mailers those that are just chasing the buck and who dont give a monkeys about those on their lists, and those that actually provide some value for actually opening the mail instead of just another sales pitch.

I open the ones that provide value time and time again and NEVER open the ones that are always pushing stuff on me when its clear they are just looking for the affiliate comm. (I unsubscribe those)

This question is like this: how fast does your car go? Who cares! My car is a different car than yours; you don't even know what kind of car I have. For example:

I have a list of candle making leads, I average $1 per sub per month and making $3000. or...

I have a list of 12 multi-millionaires that I suggest IPOs to; I average 1.4 million per month from it.

How the hell will me saying $3000 per month or $1.4 million per month help you? You need more info, and it still won't matter. Everyone produces differently depending on copy skills, open rate, conversion rate, full moon....

I think it's misleading to say that the value of your list is in how many people are on it. You need to think in terms of trying to build a personal relationship with each of these people. The more they get to know you the more responsive they will be. There are really no hard and fast numbers.

I learned that Chris Farrell (CMM) has a list of around 37 thousand opt ins. With that list he is able to generate an amazing 7 figure income per year. WOW! The money is in the list.

One thing to note is this, the money is in the RELATIONSHIP with your list.

Stand out from other markerters jostling for their attention and you'll get more opens, more clickthroughs and more purchases based on your recommendations
