Hi everyone I was wondering if anyone was willing to share their experiences in partnerships, joint ventures, etc. Examples of what I am wondering about are the Apple, Microsoft and Goggle models.

    Many years back, my mentor built a multimillion dollar real estate biz with two partners. Then he spent most of what he made in legal fees when the collaboration went sour.

    Reason enough for me, personally, to avoid partners like the plague. Better to hire the talent I need. And fire the talent I don't

    i think jvs have there place!

    but i dont believe in building your empire with a jv. doing the odd jv on a particular product works great. I have done this in the past and i can say its a great way to tap into 2 peoples listings, experience and capabilities
