Do you guys sell eBooks on Amazon???

Hey guys,

Do any of you guys sell your eBooks on Amazon?

I have a friend who sells computers & just signed up
as a seller on amazon...heard it costs 40 bucks a month
& the fee is 8%...

Do you guys sell EBOOKS & AUDIOS & or any other
digital products?

If so, what is your experience like? Are the sales better than eBay?

    I sell my ebooks through Kindle - not sure if that's what you mean.

    I only get a percentage of what Amazon decides to sell each title for.

    Kindle is the e-book reader that Amazon markets. It could be the"next big thing" (like the iPod was for MP3 players) or it could be a complete flop, like Sony's attempt at marketing an e-book reader.

    It uses a cool (monochrome) screen made of "electronic ink", apparently has the look and feel of actual paper. The reader has a built-in wireless connection and users can buy and download new books directly from the device.

    Amazon has sold a lot of them and apparently Oprah has been raving about them on her show so they could be a good market to get into.

    Amazon has some kind of deal where you can post your work, name your price and that's about that - your book appears in their listing and you get paid when someone buys it, with a commission for Amazon sliced out of course.

    The book needs to be compiled into a special language, something like HTML. Amazon has some tools to do this on their site for Kindle writers.
