So where's the urgency to buy from you? Look at HOW you are marketing! You have an information blog - so does everybody else! You put links in your pics - so does everybody else! Now you went and got an article about making money - so has everybody else!

Listen, you have to pre-sell the person clicking on the ad. Right now, all you have are curious seekers (maybe targeted), curiously clicking on your links and they curiously see the offer and they CURIOUSLY move on without buying. That's exactly what you have set up for and thats what you're getting.

You need to provide more than just information - provide solutions. Give em more than just an article and a graphic - give them some great advice and move them into the offer: use video reviews.

Then have them fill in their name and email to get some more information that will solve their problem and after your email collection send them to the sales page!

What has happened? They have already clicked to get more info, you got their email for your list AND they are primed and ready for the offer. They feel they have more knowledge and that they are close to having the solution to their problem. They already gave and clicked - now they are ready to buy!

You won't get the high numbers of curiousity seekers this way, but you will get more engaged visitors while building your list at the same time.

I think everybody has to work more on each offer than trying to throw hundreds of offers at visitors with little or no prepping!

Better yet, WHY do you new comers keep trying to promote MMO products when you yourselves haven't made any money/success/online riches, obviously you are not using or trying the products you promote, obviously you're just trying to trick even newer noobs than you to buy this stuff... otherwise why not buy it yourself and start making money using the systems you're endorsing? (probably because you know they are bullshat!)

Get away from the stupid mmo's, promote something NOT aimed at marketers and try to actually understand/learn the whole eco system not just 'pick product/blog it/link it'. Once you master selling stuff online (and actually converting) outside the mmo's you MIGHT have some luck pitching money courses but for now it's literally the blind leading the blind (I'm brand new, have made no money, don't understand this game yet, so buy from me trust me these courses work!).

This is my pet peeve - it's not your fault but everyone here preaches to just 'promote my mmo you'll do great' or 'push my wso' ect. and they convince people like you who are new to the game that it's 'this easy' when really you're just fooling yourself. Make money with real marketing tasks going after green niches, you'll actually LEARN about marketing, copy, conversions, split tests, etc. Stop listening to the guru's telling you to pitch this stuff it's going backwards and you will continue to version your own intel/success until you spin out/give up.

Sorry for being a bit harsh: I'm passionate about this/seeing noobs chase their tails due to this places influence on how to start/what's best practice etc. - Best of luck with your moves, I would sincerely advise you to pick 3 new products that your HEART pulls towards (not money related) and pitch those you just might surprise yourself.

You should probably create your own replies to the OP rather than copying them from members in this thread: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...butt-wall.html

        Now I understand!!

        Thanks, Kecia - well spotted.

That reply wasn't there while I wrote mine, but had suddenly appeared when I submitted it, and I thought to myself "Where on Earth has all this information about the OP's blog come from?"

There was no link in his post, no sig-file, and so on. And I decided he must have edited his post, and originally have been showing something now removed from his brief post! It never occurred to me that the reply itself might be pasted-in from another thread. :p

Ms. Kiwi's been at it all day, I think.

Strange, too: scallywags usually begin their onslaught almost immediately after signing up, not months later.

Hmmm ... patient plagiarists ... a concept as exotic as the Kiwi itself.

oh come on guys. he's just trying to make a living! hehehehehe

thank you all for your replies. I was both happy and sad with what you guys shared with me. Happy because you gave me great responses... sad because I was initially going to promote a really high converting clickbank product but I read from Alexa Smith's posts that these are not always the easiest to sell.

I just need a really good game plan when it comes to affiliate marketing. Something legit that would help me build a sustainable full-time income. Does anyone have any suggestions? Alexa Smith? My goal is to make a career out of this

Broad questions like this will only realistically solicit broad and (I think) largely unhelpful answers.

A better approach would be for you to show examples of what you've worked on so far (if anything), or else describe your work and/or plans in as much detail as possible.

That way people can begin to gauge how much you already know, identify where you're going wrong and offer up suggestions tailored to your needs and circumstances, rather than spending a lot of time speculating and talking in generalities that probably won't help you all that much.

Give and ye shall receive ...

The number of ClickBank hops (and sales) you get all depends on the strength of the relationships you build with your potential customers. ClickBank products are bought by people who trust the person making the recommendation. Don't let them sense that you want "fast" customers, because that will really put people off.

However you look at it, selling ClickBank products is really all about three main things ...

    (i) You have to select the products wisely: obviously enough, without getting this part right, it doesn't much matter what else you do!

(ii) You have to pre-sell effectively to well-targeted traffic (so you have to at least one reliable way of attracting well-targeted traffic, and to understand clearly the difference between selling and pre-selling).

(iii) You have to build lists and form relationships with the people on them, so that they'll buy on the strength of your recommendation. Without doing this, your conversion-rate will typically be somewhere between "very low indeed" and "non-existent": ClickBank products are generally successfully sold only on "trust", i.e. how much your customers trust your recommendation. Your income will be directly proportional to the degree of trust you establish by list-building and list-communications: it's simple, but it isn't easy.

These three things aren't optional, really: you simply have to do all three of them adequately, to earn any money worth talking about.

Advertising on related forums is a very easy way to do so. Just pick a broad niche.
